Hoehnheim Studios is the independent studio of author and developer Michael-Ian Hoehn. It makes games, books and, one day, animation.
The name comes from the family name. Hoehn comes from the German word for "height," and -heim means "home," so Hoehnheim is the home on the high ground. Fans of a certain alchemist anime may hear another echo in it, and that's on purpose.
The studio's main project is Hollowed Crown, a dark-fantasy saga told across novels and games. Between those it makes smaller games, from neon tower defense to couch-chaos brawlers.
